Painting techniques & tips you should know
To stop paint from becoming lumpy or drying out, pour ½ inch of paint at a time into a small container instead of keeping it in the original can. Doing so will force you to continually refill the container, which will maintain the paint’s fluid state.
Always put the lid back on the can immediately after pouring the paint. But before you put the cap on, blow into the can to reduce the oxygen inside, which causes a layer of skin to develop on the paint.
