Top building brands of 2017 revelead by ProSurvey
Every year, the Builder Brand Use Study investigates which manufacturers builders across the country turn to the most, and ranks the companies based on four criteria: brand familiarity, brand used in past two years, brand used most and quality rating.
The study to reveal top building brands of 2017 focuses on 51 categories of the home, from structure to finishes and everything in between like ceramic tile, doors, exterior wall sheathing, caulks/sealants and more.
In the category of “Decorative Moldings/Trim/Columns-Interior,” for instance, Fypon came out on top in three of four criteria, while Enkeboll Designs received the highest quality rating. A single brand earned the top ranking across all four criteria in 13 product categories, including CertainTeed and Kohler, which each swept two categories.
The study to reveal the top building brands of 2017 is sponsored by Builder magazine publisher Hanley Wood, and conducted by The Farnsworth Group, a leading industry market research firm. The survey was conducted online and included Hanley Wood subscribers classified as “builders, builders–developers, or general contractors.” The data was collected from November 2016 through January 2017 and is based on 936 qualified responses.
