GAF has added a diamond-shaped shingle to its Lifetime Designer Shingle Value Collection. The diamond-shaped GAF shingles, called Sienna, have a unique design with artisan-crafted shapes and a dimensional look that is not available with typical shingles.
The Sienna’s appearance and clean lines of the diamond-shaped GAF shingles will add distinction to any home at a fraction of the cost of traditional slate or wood shakes, and are available in four custom colors. Sienna shingles have a Class A fire rating, the highest fire rating possible, making them a safer choice than wood shakes or some plastic or synthetic shingles. All of these features are included at a truly affordable price.
All of GAF’s Lifetime Shingles use GAF’s proprietary Advanced Protection Technology, which results in shingles that provide improved performance, including superior durability and wind resistance. Using GAF’s Dura Grip Adhesive assures the shingle is sealed tightly and reduces the risk of shingle blow-off. All GAF Lifetime Shingles pass ASTM’s two toughest wind tests (ASTM D3161 Class F 110 mph and ASTM D7158 Class H 150 mph) and carry GAF’s Lifetime limited warranty.

Also new from GAF is an app for tablets and iPads that allows contractors to take a photo of a customer’s house, and then quickly and accurately map the roof with a tap of the screen.
The homeowner can then select any GAF roofing materials and GAF shingles and see them on the house. This app will help contractors demonstrate the beauty of GAF shingles and eliminate one of the biggest impediments to closing the sale: answering the question, “How will it look on my house?”
